“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always.”

-Matthew 28:19-20

WHAT WE BELIEVE
THE SCRIPTURES
THE TRINITY

The Bible, both old and new Testaments, as Gods written word which is infallible and authoritative, and as the only rule for Christian faith and conduct and the supreme and final authority in all matters on which it speaks (2 Timothy 3:16).

There is one true God. The Godhead eternally exists in three persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are one and co-equals having the same nature, attributes, and perfections (Deuteronomy 6:4; 1 John 5:7;

Matthew 28:19-20).

THE DEITY OF CHRIST

His virgin birth, His sinless life, His vicarious death and atonement through his blood, His bodily resurrection and ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His future return to this earth in power and glory (Matthew 1:18-25).

MAN

That man was created in the image of God and that he was tempted by Satan and fell, and that because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely necessary for salvation (Genesis 1:27).

WATER BAPTISM

Baptism in water is by immersion and for believers only. The ordinance is a symbol of the born-again Christian's identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. (Matthew 28:19, Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12).

THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit descended on the Day of Pentecost according to the divine promise and dwells in every believer and His baptism is for all believers who ask for this experience. The fruit of the Spirit and Gifts of the Spirit in the lives of believers are visible demonstrations of His presence (Acts 2:1-4, 38-39;

Galatians 5:22).

HOLINESS

Every believer is called to live in holiness without which no one can see God. By the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit, the believer is enabled to live a holy life (Luke 6:43-44;

Galatians 5:16-24; Hebrews 12:14;1 Thessalonians 5:23).

THE BLESSED HOPE

The resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their translation together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord is the imminent and blessed hope of the Church (1 Thessalonians 4:16,17; Romans 8:23;

Titus 2:13; 1 Corinthians 15:51,52).
